Anyone has experience on the Czech made August Forster from 60-70s?

someone is selling the Czech made AF upright for 2k$ CAD (i emailed the owner and confirmed the make)

I definetly in love with new August Forster. But haven't heard anything about the Czech made AF (only info i got from larry's piano book, they owned by Petroff)

Location is very far need to consider if its worth to check out.

That is outrageously overpriced for that piano. It has a Detoa
action which is not the best when in perfect condition and new
and they age poorly.

Give it a pass. It is not related to the German maker.

how much does it cost (generally) to rebuild a piano with the entire action assembly (with renner) and with polished white finish?

Well, this is just like my wife's upright! Not bad for practising, but IMHO the price is too high. Here in Czech Republic you get such piano for such price from the piano restoration company and it is usually regulated, hammers reshaped etc. So, get the price lower...
