I have an opportunity to buy a digital CLP-950 and would like opinions as to whether this is a good decision. There is also a clp 320. Both are in excellent condition. Do you have any thoughts for me to help me in my decision! Thank you!

The CLP950 came out in 2000. It's pretty old. I can't find much information about it. In particular, I don't know whether it has a GH3 keyboard, a GH keyboard, or a not-so-good GHS keyboard. For me that would be a prime consideration. There may be a sticker on the high-C key of the piano that will reveal the keyboard type. What is the seller's asking price? Correction: I found some info HERE. It has a GH keyboard. The CLP320 came out in 2008. Since the CLP4xx series was released in 2011, I presume this CLP320 is being offered as used? At least this one has the GH keyboard. But the CLP950 has slightly better speakers. What is the seller's asking price?

The clp 950 will have a similar or better k`board than my 820 had, which was OK. It`s third up in the hierarchy of those released in 2000! They were good lookers in those days, so if you get it cheap . . . .

the 950 is older (probably about 10 years old) but has better speakers - equivalent piano sound to my P-250 I think. The 320 is newer but a little less powerful speakers but has more updated specs.
I would think the 950 could be had for about 50-60% of what the 320 could be bought for.
Don't spend too much as you can get something from Yamaha in a console that will be equal in sound for around 1500.00 new.

Thanks for you input. The pianos are: 950 for $850 and the 320 for $1000. Do the prices sound reasonable?

i'd say more like 500-600 for the older one and maybe 800 for the newer one - That just my humble guess. I do think the prices are high, especially for the clp-950
