OP LiorMoskoPiano Junior Member L Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 7	Hi everyone, I have a budget of about 8,000$ and i am going to buy a new piano very soon. I have played a 122 johannes seiler upright and a 118 petrof(both are new) but i was also thinking on buying a used yamaha grand(the G2 or G3). So guys what do you think?

And, a good quality upright is a very nice instrument, but if you have room for a grand, I say go for the grand. I have a grand and 3 uprights, but I always gravitate back to the grand... that is the piano I get the most enjoyment out of... Good luck and keep us informed! Welcome to Piano World, by-the-way!
