Oke guys,
While I'm still wondering which stage piano I'm gonna buy
(currently thinking of the Nord piano 2 HA88), I'm also thinking about how I'm going to record the sound. I have bought EWQL piano's so I have some sort of alternative for sound recording but I'm also interested in recording the sound from my stage piano. Soo...

Let's say I got a ASUS notebook (core i5, 16GB RAM, not a really good audio card) and a random "high end" stage piano. I was thinking about buying a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 (http://www.thomann.de/nl/focusrite_scarlett_2i4.htm)and connecting my stage piano to the interface with two 1/4' mono-jack to XLR male cables. Is this a good idea? Do you guys have any other suggestions for a below 300 euro budget?

I use the Presonus Audiobox. It has two input jacks for mic or guitar, which I don't need. But the more expensive boxes have more inputs ... which I doubly don't need. So this box meets my need, and it's available for under $150 USD. I got it used for $75.

There's also the similarly priced M-Audio Fast Track Pro, and several others, all of them well under your 300 Euro budget.

I have a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 and have been very happy with their products, so you should be fine. Note that those inputs on the Focusrite you linked to are universal connectors, so just simple jack-to-jack leads will suffice.

Am I correct in thinking that these can also be used as separate L+R line in connectors for recording your DP?

Oh... yes, you're right! Didn't knew those existed xD
Sorry, but I'm new in the world of recording.
Guess I'll be using two jack to jack cables...
