Does anyone know if the PX-780 will be available in the UK and what the difference is between it and the PX-750?

Isn't it basically a PX-350 in a nice slim cabinet with lid? ie, it lacks the full AIR support of the 650, notably.

Some models in Casio's new lineup (PX-850, AP-450, AP-650 and the new PX-5S) have Key-Sympathetic Resonance as well as another nuances like release velocity and grand piano lid position simulation.

Isn't it basically a PX-350 in a nice slim cabinet The lid on the PX-780 does not open. I meant the thing that covers the keys. I hope it opens! (There is a sliding key cover lid, right?) Confusingly, the product description says "damper resonance", "hammer response", and "string resonance".

But it does have a sliding cover for the keys, right? That's what I'm interested in. Sometimes DPs live in dangerous environments ... :^) Yeah, I found a photo at azpianonews showing the cover closed. I don't think its existence is mentioned in the specs -- but there's the tell-tale wavy groove in the photo. Thanks Mike!

James, I think it is a replacement for the PX-800 which disappeared after the PX-X30 series launched. The specs are similar and it has more sounds than the 800 had. Probably also provides competition to the Yahama DGX-640.
Mike, Is the PX-780 really come without the SP33 pedal at this price point?. The specs show the SP3 pedal included.
