Hi all, long time since posting, the piano bug has bitten me once again and I am enjoying looking at various instruments for sale. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/msd/3596003388.html

My instinct says American made; the Chinese-built Baldwins have "c" instead of a dot on the "i". Get the serial number and find out when it was manufactured. Baldwin stopped making pianos in the USA back in 2008.

That piano looks like a Baldwin model 6000 52" upright (most likely American made). I had the opportunity to buy a late 1980's model 6000 for about a $1000 but it was in pretty rough shape so I decided to pass.
That one looks to be in good condition.
The price seems high to me, but not outrageous.
Good luck!
Rick
