If it was playable I might be interested. Is it possible to play a piano underwater? Someone must have tried. Not like this, but for real. Kees

You guys will like this one: http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/msg/2658035520.htmlLowballer excuses and my replies:
1. "I'm tight on cash"...you shouldn't be buying pianos.
2. "I'm a starving college student"...buy ramen and throw in an egg...very filling. Buy a cheap electronic keyboard. Fits better in your Scion or Honda anyway.
3. "I'm retired and on a tight budget"...see lowballer excuse #1.
4. "$1 CASH, today"...I ONLY take cash. You can pay by credit card via paypal but you pay ALL fees and I wait for funds to clear before you take delivery. No money orders, wooden nickels, magic beans or Nigerian wire money transfers for a billion dollars and you give me and extra $50K for my "troubles". Or lotto winnings that you can't get out of the EU for whatever reason.
5. "my Homeboy said this piano is only worth $1"...your homeboy is probably as stupid as you.
6. "my Homeboy said he'll sell me this EXACT same model of piano for $1 but I'd rather buy from you for [insert lowball price but above $1]"...help your homeboy out first or else he might shoot you.
7. "would you consider renting it?"...yes. $1/per day and $1200 non refundable restocking fee.
8. "take a picture of the inside, the bottom, every single key, raise Chopin from the dead to play it, record it, put it on YouTube, get a billion hits, and I'll maybe call you."...no stop wasting my time.
9. "can you meet me halfway between Bakersfield so I can 'look' at it"...see #8.
10. "payment plan?"...yes. ONE payment installment plan. AKA "INSTANT layaway" AKA "cash and carry".

"Prior to my ownership it was the piano that was used in the Old South Church in Weymouth, MA and made it through the fire of 1989. Its notably burnt finish and warm tone is a great addition to any home."

http://missoula.craigslist.org/msg/2698821309.htmlPiano in mint condition by Baldwin. Solid Mahogany case, solid brass sound board. It has been in my family since 1930. It is in perfect condition and very well cared for. It needs tuning.

I love this thread. Is there anyway we can post screen shots instead of links... almost all of the links are expired so posting screenshots will allow everyone to enjoy forever!

Very heavy. Must pick up. But I know it's heavy. Do I still have to pick it up?

So, if anyone ever has a question about those unique plastic Irish built pianos that somehow keep surfacing this is what they look like in good condition. With a little tape and glue it could last another owner or two. Sure is enticing at $100.00. http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/msg/2839808734.html

I had one once here in the shop; really difficult to repair when the hammer flanges break away from the rail.
