I am trying to find a play along cd that just has bass and drums for 12 bar blues. Can anyone make a recommendation? Thanks.

Thanks, Davie. I am aware of those choices. Unless I am mistaken, those tracks are not just bass and drums (I think). smile

Yes
Aebersold are stereo tracks
One track with no piano, 1with no bass. So if you pan to the left u will have drums plus bass.

Thanks, Notty, but what do you mean "pan to the left". Are you referring to using something like Audacity?

Abersold has play-alongs for just about everything.

The piano and bass tracks are typically panned to opposite channels, so that a pianist or bassist can easily omit the recorded piano or bass part by muting the appropriate channel.

Aebersold is great. Hal leonard has something similar the jazz play-along series. they even bought the rights to have a sax or trumpet play the heads for jazz standards.

the easiest way for jamming if you don't need super hi-res is youtube.

Make your own with BiaB. It took me 5 minute to do it.

Tell me if you need another key/tempo.
