I'll be more than happy to contribute the Opus 67 No. 4 (Spinning Song). Was planning to record it soon anyway !!!

Bought the score back in 1958 - when I truly was a "beginner." It's taken awhile to get around to learning it. grin

I can do the 53/1. I don't ever play enough Mendelssohn, but I always love his works. When is the "recital date"?

Edited by Morodiene (02/16/13 04:08 PM)
Edit Reason: only doing 53/1

Is the "Mendelssohn themed recital" limited to pieces from the "Songs Without Words"?

Those are all the choices that are listed, so far.

I've played the remaining three before (30/2, 67/6, 85/6). Do you have to be an adult beginner to participate?
