I had talked to them a couple years ago when they had a couple grands I thought looked interesting, and then never went up to see them. Regardless of what a Yamaha dealer's practice is, the Yamaha corporation does not recommend grey market pianos for use in North America. They even have a page on their website to help people identify such pianos by serial number.
