We've got lots of flooded roads, so think I'm investing in this type of vehicle!

Hello Again all of you PW'ers!

We had a wonderful 3 weeks! Loved almost every minute of it! The weather, for the most part, was great although much of it reminded me of Michigan, especially the first 7 days.... Rain rain and more rain.... That same rain followed us back home again but the temperatures decided to stay in Florida, not following us back here, dangitall.

Remember me talking about Alan Glasser, a person I've known on the internet since about 1985 but never met? Well, here is a nice picture of Alan and myself.

We took an air boat ride while we were there. Those things are a blast. They drove us back a little way into the Cypress swamp. From what I understood, in one of their major hurricane's or bad storms of some kind, the water level rose so much, you can see it on the trucks of the tree's how high the water was at one time.

Disney World. Had to go there again! We saw the Lion King Show,,,,, for about the 5th time, still love it!

All of these next pictures were taken with NO flash...

Well, seeing as how I don't know how to rotate the picture once it is HERE, you will have to rotate your heads in order to see my pretty little face in this next one!!

So, did you people actually accomplish anything at all while I was away???

Bob, come up to Michigan this summer with your wife and we'll go to the cottage!

Well, for some reason today, the edit button isn't working so, I'll add these the other way instead.

Pics of gators taken on air boat ride. The SAFE way to take them Bob! smile

[Linked Image]

This one looks like their coming to get us. When asked, the air boat guide said that one time when he got to close to a gator's nest and their eggs, the boat was attacked. Gator's can jump out of the water half the size of their bodies. He said in this one instance, the gator, jumped onto the front of the boat. I thought, GREAT!!! If true, that's where I'm setting!

Nice pics of Cypress trees in the swamp. Again, notice the water line on the tree's.

Man, I do NOT want to go back to work again. Can I pass and go back down to Florida again????

Cross posted from the "What did you do today" thread: "LOL, I just saw on the Weather Channel, 8.7 inches of snow for today, a record amount for this late in the season. I am glad I did not have to travel further North today!"

Do you still believe in "Global Warming"? Boston had record amounts of snow this winter and there is more to come yet tonight and tomorrow. By this date, we were already supposed to have coastal flooding because of rising seas. The only things I see rising are gas and gold prices and general inflation. People will still blame it all on Bush and say that the cold actually means global warming but I know better. I'm already planning on using the "Trump" card in 2012!

The reason you are having colder winters is because the polar ice caps are melting and cooling the Gulf Stream. That, and my giant snow blower that sends all of our snow your way!

Yea, thanks for that BDB, and it's obvious that our Michigan snowblowers aren't throwing it ALLLLLL the way to Vancouver!!!

Yes, we woke up to snow the first morning back on our deck and then the next day, an inch or so on the ground. T-storms last night, most of the night, very windy and raining since we returned. Must be an omen or, maybe one night, I forgot to say Amen?

Q: Where can men over the age of 60 find younger, sexy women who are interested
in them?

A: Try a bookstore, under fiction.

Q: What can a man do while his wife is going through menopause?

A: Keep busy. If you're handy with tools, you can finish the basement. When you're done you'll have a place to live.

Q: Someone has told me that menopause is mentioned in the bible. Is that true? Where can it be found?

A: Yes. Matthew 14:92: "And Mary rode Joseph's ass all the way to Egypt ..

Q: How can you increase the heart rate of your 60-plus year old husband?

A: Tell him you're pregnant.

Q: How can you avoid that terrible curse of the elderly wrinkles?

A: Take off your glasses.

Q: Seriously! What can I do for these Crow's feet and all those wrinkles on my face?

A: Go braless. It will usually pull them out.

Q: Why should 60-plus year old people use valet parking?

A: Valets don't forget where they park your car.

Q: Is it common for 60-plus year olds to have problems with short term memory storage?

A: Storing memory is not a problem, Retrieving it is the problem.

Q: As people age, do they sleep More soundly?

A: Yes, but usually in the afternoon.

Q: Where should 60-plus year olds look for eyeglasses?

A: On their foreheads.

Q: What is the most common remark made by 60-plus year olds when they enter antique stores?

A: "Gosh, I remember these!"

SMILE, You've still got your sense of humor, RIGHT?
