It all looks great. In addition to the scroll and clock, let's not forget the wine rack. Like a fine vintage, the beauty of a piano comes from within the container!

There's a reason the booze is within reach from the piano bench! grin

Next to that painting, the piano feels like it's back home.

I like the clock. You can make sure you practice for a full 2 hours every day!

If it was my room, I would swap the position of the rack/shelf and the piano to see if it sounds better. Putting a microphone/ears/speaker in the corner is generally considered sub-optimum acoustically.

Oh, very nice, ju. Fits the space really nicely and lends itself to day dreaming, which I think is appropriate when at the piano. smile

Where did you find it? I'm still looking for the right art piece for my little music room.

thanks guys - The piano actually sounds find in the corner of the room there. It is actually a small room as I live in an apartment block 550sqft.

And I bought the painting down in Chinatown in Vancouver a few days back for $35! Yes $35!

I've been looking for months too for a nice chinese painting and all the ones I found have been over $600 because the've been originals and this is a reprint.

And Yes the clock keeps me on track, although I need to put a new battery in there - no one could tell that in the light picture and the dark picture the time still reads the same!

Also - The wine and whisky collection! Has to be in reach, so I can find some inspiration

There are wonderful discussions over at Battery World. Just remember to always hire a qualified and experienced technician to do a full inspection before any purchase. Battery actions can get pretty tricky.

Oops - Wrong Forum!

Haha, I should get a quote from an engineer to fix the battery but I don't think I can afford it! I may have to DIY and go to the shop and buy and fit it myself! Times are tough!

Sorry... The only artwork I was admiring was the Glenlivet, Tomintoul, and Glenfiddich on the shelf...

You have good taste in pianos and scotch!

I love it! Very nice...I used to have the same piano, just not the institutional model. Bad choice on my part, that music rack is much better.
