I am rebushing keys for a distant blind technician. He cannot supply the sizes for the balance and front rail pins. The piano is a 1966 Mason & Hamlin BB. Anyone know these sizes in thousandths? Thanks.

Probably not significantly different from what you buy from Schaff.

Most American pianos have .146" pins for both, though, pre-1960 Steinway and AMPICO pianos have .162" and .087" balance pins, respectively. I'm not going to bet my life on it, but my guess is .146" for both the front and balance rail.

I would ask Bill Spurlock or the factory...
