a good friend of mine has a 2004 estonia 190 that he's thinking about selling. he bought it new, family has barely used it but he has it tuned every 3 months regardless (he's very fussy with his possessions).

he asked what i thought it was worth and i said i'd ask here, knowing PW is a hotbed of estonia lovers. can anyone advise re: asking vs. selling price? thanks in advance.

If it has the scale changes that were made to make the bass a bit bigger and the buyer is savvy about Estonia history he might get a bit more. I'd list it for what he paid and see if it gets any interest. New Estonia prices have gone up a bit since then. Of course that may be wishful thinking by this Estonia owner who has no intention of selling his prized piano (until I win the lottery and can step up to a Steingraeber).

thanks for the feedback, steve. he got a very good deal when he bought it so i too think he could ask close to what he paid for it.
