Hey! Finally I got around to doing a Einaudi! . Its no where near perfect! But I hope its a start. Need your feedbacks. Planning to learn Divenire and Primavera after this. http://www.mohankarthik.com/2010/06/nefeli-ludovico-einuadi/cheers Karthik

Very nice, Mohan! Nefeli is such a pretty piece. I think you will find Divenire to be in a different universe difficulty-wise, though. I like your web site, too. Very cool.

Wow, the Einaudi thread sank down for a whole month? I figured now is a good time to dig it up as Einaudi will be making yet another trip to the USA this fall with confirmed stops in 4 cities so far. Here are the dates so far: + 08/10/2010 - NEW YORK + 13/10/3010 - SAN FRANCISCO + 14/10/2010 - LOS ANGELES + 16/10/2010 - MILWAUKEE (USA) Those are crazy backwards European style dates so don't get too confused trying to figure out what months 13, 14 and 16 are! I have bought tickets for the Milwaukee show on Oct 16th and I'm taking my parents there as well. (Dad's birthday is the 16th so it works out nicely.) It'll be a 6 hour drive or so but it'll be worth it. I'll keep updating the thread if more dates are announced. I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on a concert because they didn't know about it. (Plus, I want tickets to sell so he decides to keep coming back!)

Haha, 'crazy'? I work for an American company, and still don't understand your date system (which I have to use). Surely, it goes seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years. Why did you guys rearrange the days and months in the order? Good luck anyone going to the concerts, and anyone who is sitting on the fence and not sure, definately go for it - you won't regret it!

Haha yes American dates are so annoying...particularly dates like 6/7/10. June or July? Who knows? Why can't there be one standard?! (answer: there is, americans choose to ignore it ;-p)
Anyway back on topic, I've chosen Monday as my first Einaudi piece to learn. It looks fairly easy, apart from the fast bits. I'll try and upload a bit later.

Fantastic piece to learn/record - definately one of the best by Einaudi

I've got my tickets for Milwaukee!! It's close enough to my anniversary that I convinced my hubby that it would make a good romantic weekend getaway for us.

Excellent so now I've gotta decide if I'm going to see him @ Santa Monica again or San Fran - woot!!

Well it wasn't Santa Monica so I opted for our Favorite city of San Fran and even picked out some great BOX seats!! Can't wait! - SC

Must be the greatest composer/performer EVER No argument here. Re: Milwaukee--This is great! Looks like we're all in row E. (I've got seats 11 & 12).

I've got row E seats 3, 4 and 5. I'm guessing they sold the middle of the row first and then the seats on the end since I'm pretty sure that Monica bought some first.
I'm actually going to be in Milwaukee late this week (and only a few blocks away from the Marcus Center) so I may take a bit of time to scout out some of the hotels in the area and maybe try to figure out what else to do when we're there for the Einaudi concert in October.

Let us know what you find out, Anthony. I'd be especially interested in hearing about hotels in walking distance of the Center.

I did a quick search for Nearby Hotels Possible things to do: Milwuakee Public Museum or Art Museum If you are flying in, my favorite Mexican restaurant in the city is Jalapeno Loco, it's across the street from the airport. Great staff, great service, great food!!

Ludovico Einaudi has added a show in Seattle on October 12th. It appears that Einaudi will go just about anywhere for a show as long as there is some nearby large body of water...

Oh man!! Now I am REALLY torn, because my dad, step-mom, and sister all live in Seattle. It would be an ideal way to combine a visit with family. What to do, what to do.
[Edit: Never mind. Oct. 12 is a Tuesday and I have to teach class that day. I have not yet reduced myself to the point of blowing off my work, even for Einaudi.]
