So the local shop finally got a PX 850 in.....

I had a play and it sounded weird to me, compared to the 998 and my own digital.

Is it because I am so used to the sound of my DP and my 998? I did try with headphones I use for my CDP, but still it felt a bit uncanny...... when the PX850 is supposed to be their flagship model and is supposed to be better in everyway.....

Anybody else get this?

I think you get used to your own. That`s no bad thing; when a really good one happens along, you`ll be ready for it! I`ve just bought a replacement myself.

You can get used, or it is just not your piano.
Try other brands before buying.
