Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and nuclear weapons.

Here's a line I heard this morning on talk radio, while driving in to work. I joke you not, this is what I heard, a one-liner gem directly on air. The host was commenting on an earlier interview with the South African minister of transport, Ben Martins. He said: The high number of road deaths is a matter of grave concern.
