The other thing about the Una Corda pedal is that instead of hitting the strings with the compressed grooves in the hammers, it hits between them in softer material that's more like the way the hammers were voiced when they were new. The more miles the hammers have on them, the more that contributes to the difference.

An interesting thing to try is pressing the Una Corda just a little bit, moving the action just a hair more than the width of a string. You're playing all the strings, but with a different part of the hammer felt.

Hello, Mark

I have tried to listen to "Another great lesson from Robert"
but it says that the Adobe Player for the lesson has been disabled,
and I would have to click the given "chrome://plugins" to make it work.

But the Adobe Player in my little computer is already working,
and I still cannot listen to the given lesson from Robert - what does it mean?

Does the Adobe Player work differently in different countries?

Thanks form Kristina.

Kristina, I'am not sure about your problem, but I suspect it is a browser issue. I use Firefox and it works fine.

Thanks for posting. At the moment I only use the right hand pedal.
