Here's a link to a little recording I made today with my iPhone after I tuned a nice Yamaha C2 at a local church. Click on "Holy, Holy, Holy"

Hi Ryan,

If I may comment....what I am hearing are a fair amount of unisons that are out. Don't know about the temperament/stretch, as the unisons make it hard to tell if it's good. The very top treble sounds cleaner to me...better unisons. Did you use an ETD or tune it by ear? Thanks for posting it. smile

F#2 f#3 c4 yes the treble is cleaner. I believe the pin setting does not allow firm unisons . Also the attack is not "tuned" in bass bichords and low mediums so the tone is not reinforced but dissipates in sustain.

The piano could not be used for classical music in my opinion for lack of control on dynamics.

It may relate to listening or to tuning pin work, I dont know, and certainly to non listening to consonance. In churches with huge reverberation it is not easy to tune, an recordings show more than what we hear when tuning, often.

If I was the customer I would be upset. Sounds more like a pub piano rather than one that's freshly tuned. Sorry frown
