This custom search works much better than the built in one and allows searching older posts.

Seems there is already a thread on exactly the same topic... Someone else posted a trailer about the worldwide release of her project. I'm posting about a local appearance and free, fun event for those who would like to meet and hear her in person. Our event will be small (limited to ~140) but hers is likely to be one of the very few big Classical releases this year.

Valentina Lisitsa's Rachmaninov Project CD releases in UK today, US tomorrow. Review from Norman Lebrecht - Sinfini Music, chosen as Album of the Week. "The first thing that strikes you about this set is the pianist's authority, her absolute conviction that each phrase can only be articulated in a certain way, her way...I find this the most compelling full set of Rachmaninov concertos since Vladimir Ashkenazy's with André Previn 40 years ago...." 5 Stars!
