Hi,
Thank-you for posting. I think that is an indication of how high you might like your bar to be. I have never been a judge and doubt I would enjoy judging but I would imagine that to judge your playing one would have to know the piece very well. I know your first selection very well and have always enjoyed Glenn Gould's performance. I think your execution was very similar. Nontheless I could hear small differences but overall I think it was well played.

I recall when Nadia C. scored a 10 in the Olypmics and most recently those scores are to be expected.

Does humanity raise the bar? Is that good or bad? You can be the judge.

In the end there is nothing that compares to doing a job well done....especially when it comes to playing the piano.

Hi there, DoubleI7!

Very enjoyable! There are two aspects that I especially liked in your presentation -- the clarity of both the musical thought and the tone throughout; and the fact that you didn't let minor slip-ups rattle you unduly. IMO, you've shown the judges that you have the technique and the attitude to respond flexibly and quickly to phrasing and shaping suggestions, because you have demonstrated keen musical intelligence and sensitivity in this performance. Congratulations, and thanks for sharing!
