It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
I just recently found this song (Sally Gardens) while looking for Irish songs to play for a St Patricks Day party. I haven't gotten too far with it yet but really like this melody.
Now I'm gonna go listen to Wish Upon a Star which I'm sure to love too because you play so well.
Yep, just as lovely as the first

Ragdoll
At first, she only flew when she thought no one was watching.
I've fallen way behind on this month's piano bar. I've been off fighting with the read dot, or rather my lack of readiness for the red dot. For a change this is not a Scottish fiddle tune. There are still some problems with my playing, but don't want to wait until April or May's piano bar.
This is Lee Evan's arrangement of Gershwin's "It Ain't Necessarily So"
Kristina: it's a brand new Perzina 152cm grand piano. It has been in my possession for a little over three weeks now and I love it!
You shouldn't need Facebook or a Soundcloud account to listen to Saranoya's contribution, but it requires Firefox with Flash, or Internet Explorer 10, or Chrome to play.
Thank you David for the information, how to listen to Saranoya's contribution and thanks for the information on your new piano. I am very impressed about the dreamy sound and beautiful tonality of your new Perzina 152 grand piano and I shall look out for them.
Stumbler Relaxed start but gets lively at the end. Jazz isn`t my forte but I wish I could do it better. sounded great, man. But a dusky husky singer would be the icing on the cake . .
Laypayne: Your cover of Disney is very good. All of them are very good. Pianotehead: Good. Yesterday(also yesterday once more) is my favor song. Should you try using sustain paddle during chord shift? Amaruk: Well played. Try Concerning Hobbits next time. The song is "Love is Blue". Its a very old song. I played it very slow so the chordal notes become melody. Codi: Nice to see your movie. Your playing is very nice. Keep on sharing.
Will going to listen to music on page 4 and afterward.
Working on:\
J.S.Bach Prelude in C Min: No. 2 from Six Preludes fur Anfanger auf dem Am Abend No. 2 from Stimmungsbilder, Op. 88 60s Swing No. 1 from Swinging Rhythms
Bill- a very dreamy delivery of Strawberry Fields. Very nicely done.
Alllard - Your new piano sounds great! I really liked you playing of this piece.
Saranoya - Congratulations on finally being able to play your piano! You did a beautiful job on the Handel - Impertinence. Your piano sounds wonderful.
Peterws - Outstanding music! Did you play all of the instruments? You have impressive talent.
Stumbler - I loved "Ain't Necessarily So". You really have the feel for it. I am just beginning to play around with a little jazz and I am having fun with it. Sounds like you have it mastered!
BillM- I so very much enjoy listening to your arrangements! You continue to bring such wonderful choices to the Piano Bar. This is another one of my all-time favorites from you - the list is growing!
Allard- Never heard of David Lanz. Great playing and I am sure you find yourself playing more and more with that freshly tuned piano. It's clear you are listening very carefully to the music you play - it goes well beyond simply playing notes as it adds so much to the result.
Saranoya~ Welcome to the Piano Bar. Very fine Handel playing. It's even more fantastic you share learning some of the same music as are two of my favorites PianoWorld enthusiasts. Your sensitivity to dynamics really shows with , then Haydn - what a treat! Look forward to more from you.
peterws~ a very fine multi-media, multi-voiced presentation! I really enjoyed your work. You've got some fantastic talent there!
stumbler~ Gershwin is one of my favorites and you picked a very nice arrangement of this old standard to play. I liked it a great deal.
Here's a short improvisation called, Trailing Lights. It started as an experiment with the sustain pedal. I hope you find it relaxing as background music, not sure how else to categorize it.
I gotta say. I general. I'm impressed. You people are putting your hearts into your playing. It's music! You people are getting it. I'm beginning to like this piano bar.
I hope nobody feel left out by not mentioning individuals in a list. I listened to all of these. I enjoy this piano bar. You all deserve congratuations.
One person I just can't go without mentioning. BillM... That wasn't good...it was beautiful. Your heart showed in it. Thank you.
Ron Your brain is a sponge. Keep it wet. Mary Gae George The focus of your personal practice is discipline. Not numbers. Scott Sonnon

Inlanding - Love it, man! Long sustain, modern chords (wi unusual root notes) give it a dreamy thoughtful atmosphere. Now what does it make me think of? Not saying on the grounds that it may incriminate me. M`lud . . .
Inlanding - This has too much soul to be relegated to background music. As always, I find your composition captivating in its musicality. It is sort of relaxing but in a thoughtful and contemplative way.
BillM: Really enjoy your Strawbery Field Forever. Allard: Your new piano is very nice. The Return to the hear is very nice. saranoya: Welcome. The Hedel Impertinence is well played. According to the text in the sound file, you learned only half. Its amazing you progress very fast. Peterws: The scenery is very nice. The music is very good.

Here is a little jazz piece called 12 o'clock jump that I have been playing around with. It is a kick to play. Quite a change from my usual classical, and a lot of fun. I am still very new at this jazz thing. This was recorded on my Avant Grand. I still haven't figured out the optimal placement of the new ZoomQ3HD to record my new Bechstein. Maybe next time.
SwissMS - I listened to this a couple of times while I was cooking dinner tonight. A catchy and fun tune which you play with precision and clarity. Are you playing without pedal?. Love the jazzy chords. Nicely done!
