Um, IIRC my mom paid $1500 for the Kawai HS22 we had from 2003 up until last November. It was brand new from the Piano Co. in Leesburg, VA, and heck if I know the precise date. I remember it was during the big blizzard of '03, my parents lugged it home in their car, and a friend and I had spent hours making the most pathetic snowman ever earlier that day.
