Hi guys!

Here there is a little demo about my new electronic piano.

I find it very very convenient, in relation to its cost.

There are lots other functionalities, and I'm still learning to use them. blush

Nicely done, a proof that knowing how to play is more important than the price of the instrument smile

Great playing! Im not sure if it was my online connection acting up but it became wildly out of synch mid way through. But a great demo nonetheless!

Well first off, thanks for the reminder that I suck!!!

Secondly, I have a 105 and am very content with it. I am happy that someone of your caliber settled on a piano that the salesmen told me I would "quickly grow out of once I passed over the beginner stage."

That's such an impressive demonstration - lots of moods and styles, as well as a fine display of technique....all on a Yamaha P105, too. Brilliant!

Yes, really a motivational video for those of us who are just begining. So far I think the p105 is perfect for what I wanted, and one of the better buys at the moment for it sound and feel. Nothing to fancy but a good solid basic DP. And as somebody once said "you can't buy game" and your playing clearly shows that, bravo.

Are you using VBR (variable bitrate) MP3s?
If so, try using CBR (constant bitrate) MP3s.

Now, I've found this,

http://www.tutorialsroom.com/tutorials/details/vdub_adjust_sync.html

but not always seems to work.

I'll try with HQ MOV 720 + MP3 for next recordings.

After about 1 year of utilization, I've noticed the few issue about this keyboard.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yK67XmSGDBE

First:

the player with native speakers don't feel fully the sound.

Second:

the resistence of the key in the hight part is very strong.

Third:

the sound when the key is pushed strong is innatural. In particular after the 5^ octave.

Nice demo.

I wish I could find more demos of people playing a PX-150/350 without them having Casio, Kraft or Music in their youtube names. It's nice to see who are not selling or demoing their product taking the time to talk about it and show it.

foster12, nice playing!

ShiverMeTimbres....PX-350,

bought it while working and living temporary in Thailand...a few weeks ago my girlfriend secretly recorded me with her mobile phone(bad video and sound quality) while I was trying it out a little bit in our hotel room.....i used the bright piano setting. In my opinion there is nothing better for this price, miss the ability to half pedal, but apart from that its nice.

Great playing! I noticed in your first video from last year there appeared to be an acoustic piano behind you. Do you still have that and practice on it?

True. But if it`s like my DGX (and it is, I believe) it makes virtually no difference, nor am I bothered. However, it`s worth the money to look good. Isn`t it? smile

I'm pretty sure the Casio PX-350 supports half-pedalling, we were having a discussion on it, a few months back. Here's what Casio says on it's website.

The optional SP-33 pedal system provides the same 3 pedal functionality as a grand piano.

http://www.casio.com/products/Digital_Pianos_%26_Keyboards/Privia_Digital_Pianos/PX-350MWE/

No digital piano can have the same 3 pedal functionality as a grand piano, except it supports half-pedalling.

Edit: It says clearly on Amazon ( click here ) that the SP-33 3 pedal system supports half-pedal operation.

I know about the SP-33, but i assume that some people(most?) use their PX150,350.. unit as a stand alone, so it would be nice if casio would offer some kind of "mobile SP-33". I know about the workaround and modifying to make it work, but that involves some tinkering, a true real piece of hardware which just works(and is cheap anyway), would do just fine. Either way, the PX350 is good enough, for how much it costs anyway. In my opinion the best DP one can get in this price range.

Thank you Coala.

I don't like very much the sound of PX-350. And for the same price or little less I've chosen the P105.

But this remain my humble opinion.

I now noticed that the PX 350 is slightly more expensive than the P105. After a brief warming up on the keys I noticed the very similar touch feeling.
