I think both are terrific arrangemments and terrifically played.

Is Sleigh Ride playable as a piano duet or do the parts overlap? You seemed to be having a great time while playing it.

And yes, it's playable on just one piano!

Tremendous! I had to listen to both of them twice--Sleigh Ride because it was so fun, and Greensleeves because it was so beautiful!

How in the world did you pull off the four hands thing? Did you play with headsets on? Did you use a click track? It's so precise!

(Um, I also listened to your Mozart 330, which was very, very fun! You really "get" this "music making" thing!!! laugh )

Thanks for sharing!

I may not be fast,
but at least I'm slow.

Is Sleigh Ride your own arrangement or is available for purchase somewhere?

I only listened to Sleigh Ride so far, but this was lots of fun (including the hands clapping). Very charming!!!

I absolutely LOVE your playing. These pieces sound so fun and musical! I haven't gotten this excited about new music in a while, thanks for sharing.
Beethoven - Op.49 No.1 (sonata 19)
Czerny - Op.299 Nos. 5,7 (School of Velocity)
Liszt - S.172 No.2 (Consolation No.2)

Dream piece:
Rachmaninoff - Sonata 2, movement 2 in E minor

Really wonderful playing of these, Wiwi -- a great sense of style in both of them. In listening to Sleigh Ride, I remember that as Leroy Anderson's original conception -- that is to say, if there was an "arrangement", it's simply his ideas set for piano four hands. Anderson, of course, is deservedly remembered for his pop confections, which are really quite sophisticated, and unfailingly catchy and delightful. The Greensleeves jazz arrangement is one of many that I've seen; it seems to lend itself particularly well to jazz voicings and progressions.

Many thanks for sharing these!

I laughed all the way thru Sleigh Ride - delightful! That'll put me in a good mood for the day.

Greensleeves was beautiful.
