Hi everyone! Well, I'd like to post here my rendition of two different versions of this Étude from Liszt. The first one is the "Études en douze exercices" and the second one is the same Étude but in a more late version that Liszt did, it's the "Études d'exécution trascendental" one.

Here I post it, I hope you like it! laugh

Well done, as always. I had a vague recollection that you posted this recording but got distracted by something. It's interesting to compare Liszts' refinements of his works. Sometimes there are details in the originals that I like very much.

Really good, props for learning the first version. I learned most of the 2nd Etude from the "douze exercises" a while back, and it's certainly worth something to look at these versions.

Now all you need to do is learn the version from the "Grandes Etudes" to complete the set...lol

Awesome left hand trills, they have a definite character and personality, what makes Liszt so endlessly fascinating.

(My recording got hung up at a few points with those trills.)
