Have another little ditty running through my head that I can't identify for the life of me...could use some help if anyone can recognize this (and forgive my poor attempt at transcribing it!). I KNOW the 'end' of this little passage is incorrect, but hopefully there's someone to whom it will sound familiar! It's stored at
https://www.box.com/files#/files/0/f/0/1/f_7268764738

Thank you SO much for any help!
Judy

That link is from within your account; I haven't used box in a long time, but I imagine that somewhere there is an option to get a public URL.

From within your account there should be a "share" link. You should just copy and paste that link here. smile

I am a member of box.net, and the indication is that the item " has either been deleted or is not available to [me]."

As do I.

Hi All,
Thanks for your comments....I looked through the FAQ's to see how to upload the music directly to the forum, and after the 1st 2 lines of instructions was befuddled. It says

"When creating a new thread or response, you'll see a "File Manager" link on the "Full Reply" or "New Post" page. When selecting this option you'll receive a popup which will allow you to attach files to your post.
Steps:
1. Click "File Manager" to bring up the "Attachment" window."

Right off, I'm lost, as I DON'T 'see a "File Manager" link'...
Sorry to be so dense, but could someone explain to me how to upload directly to the forum?

Thanks,
Judy

When you download your file to box.net, there is an icon "Share this file" which gives you the url for that file. Copy that link.

In Piano World post go to "Switch to full reply screen" then click on "Create a link to a webpage" which is the second icon from the left at the top of the "full reply screen." Paste the link from box.net, and it will then appear. Hit "Return" and you have the opportunity to give the link a short, logical name (shorter than the full URL), and your link will be posted in your post.

Regards,

BruceD

This is why I use soundcloud. I can never access any of these box hosted files unless I download them.
With soundcloud you just click and play!
