Well, we "know" we will see Roland and Nord with some new stuff. What else should we "expect" or just "wish" to see.

I hope to see very little exciting. I just did my taxes, and I spent way too much on gear last year. I'm hoping for fewer temptations this year. ;-)

That said, from Yamaha, I'd like to see a Motif Rack that could hold an XF-style flash board... I'm surprised we haven't seen that, considering how long the Motif XF has been out and how long they have been selling the Rack XS. Other than that, any 73+ key board with aftertouch that weighs under 25 lbs would get my attention.

I think my GAS is all about Kawai. I love my ES7 and the CA65/95 but I am so ready for MP10 upgrade. Give me GF for starters. Then maybe 256 Poly (just because) plus 324 CN34 sounds for when I get board and need to procrastinate ;-) I can totally live without on-board speakers in trade.

Kawai, make my wish come true!

I can't imagine GF being in the new MP10 replacement - If they stuffed RM3-2 into the VPC1, why would they stick a better action into the new MP10 successor? Besides, the GF is a longer action which would make for an even bigger stage piano than what we already have with the MP10.

I just wonder if Yamaha is going to introduce an update to the CLP line. The 4xx models were presented at MusikMesse as well 2 years ago. An update would do just fine. smile

Yamaha has a video on their German webpage, where they say what they present on the Musikmesse.
Yamaha presentation (German)

Thanks for the link. The video was a short intro to Yamaha's presence on MM, the lady did not mention anything specific.

I'll keep a close on what's going on for sure. smile

Sound controller App is really great for all users with a midi board without pitch and mod wheels and other controls ! But I am afraid it is only working with YAMAHA instruments ? Otherwise nice for the VPC1 / FP-80 / ES7 and others !

New Korg Kross looks pretty cool - very lightweight too!

Sort of cheaper Krome , which was already a cheaper Kronos wannabe ? Wonder how much it will cost. I would say € 999 street price for the 88 , since the Krome 88 is about € 1499...

Perhaps competitor to the PX5S ? But for sure the keys on the Casio are better. So I wonder what the target audience is.

Unfortunately again no aftertouch. Was to be expected...

@JFP, you are dead on with price.

"The Korg KROSS goes on sale in August, and is expected to be priced at $699 for the 61-key and $999 for the 88-key."

Batteries not included ;-)

Not new news, but I would still like to see more live demos on the Numa Concert.
