I am trying to decide between a Kawai GM1 and a Yamaha G2. Asking price and age are similar. Can anyone tell me if there is a big difference. I have played the Yamaha, but haven't seen the Kawai. It is quite far away so before I make the drive I would appreciate some input.

Thanks,

Hi

I prefer the bigger one between the two. The closer you can get to 6', the better. Both brand names make fine pianos.

Good luck with your hunt for a piano.
