Every random thought does not need a thread
For it destroys the forum and makes it dead...

Yet random thoughts (with a piano link),
may save us from that deadly brink!

So if we have a post without a link
We will surely go down the drink...

Without a link - oh what a stink!

I've lots of time to play with rhyme,
but not enough, I think, to find a link!

Yet in life's yang and in the yin
Music reflecting the same therein
What seems right oft times is wrong
And in that lies the oxymoron
that...

In your plight
What's wrong
May be right.

To all of you, I say: Nay! -- Nay! Nay! Nay!
Now, what were we talking about, anyway?

Well, my random thought for today
is to play my piano till the pain goes away
It's better than a drug, or alcohol
or taking a stroll at the mall.
and, at some point in time
with a lot of rehearsal
I might learn to play
and without reversal

What's the point, we say?
the point is to learn to play
to our heart’s content
without relent
the piano, of course,
in case you are wondering
of random thoughts
to keep us from blundering

Why did I need that poem in my head, twould better filled be with usefull practice instead?

My random thought and question is how well does your teacher know you? By that I mean, I am passionate about music and as well as my weekly lessons, I discuss with my teacher about what concerts I like and where I like to go to hear them and she knows I like going to hear concerts and my teacher sings and has invited me a couple of times to hear her choir which I could not make but it was nice of her to ask. I talk about different pianos and the sound they make etc so it is clear to my teacher that I love music.

How well does your teacher know you? Or do you just take your lesson and not discuss anything else music related?

Forums come and forums go
It's just the internet, you know.

Dumb threads will not be our demise;
They simply garner few replies.

And as in nature all things age,
Those threads will gently drop from the page.

Like dead leaves and winter snow
We will be pleased let them go.

When we log in in a little while
Something new will be posted that might make us smile.



The real way to kill a forum
Is to insist too narrowly on decorum.

Not bad...compared to the others on this page.

Does talent really exist?
I believe that is the gist
of many a thread of late
but it is just troll bait.

Threads like this are created in boredom

There’s no need to blame the forum

We have an inherent need to laugh and smile

And, to that end, we go the extra mile

Five monster threads does not a forum make;
We need new blood for variety’s sake.
You know what they say--
Diff’rent strokes, diff’rent folks;
How slow to play
or Red-Dot chokes,
Scherzo, allegro, largo, ritardando.
So take it easy and don’t be a schmoe
It’s all about piano, you know.
