Anyone interested in a Piano Party in Carson CA (suburb of Los Angeles)? I am willing to host. I have a restored 1913 Steinway O.

Yes, that sounds interesting. We're midway between Carson and Simi, in Reseda. We could do it here, but the piano's not as good. It's an unrestored 1929 Knabe 9ft.

That would be fun! Google maps says I'm 30 minutes from Carson, without traffic.

Wow! Go West Coast!

This could be a whole new crop of West Coast piano parties. There was a So. Cal. group that used to have the best events, but I don't even know if that group of folks are still active here.

Sorry I am on the East Coast. Have fun and take lots of pictures.

Given a clear schedule, I would attend. I can't play (tendinitis and I suck) but would cheerfully contribute food.

There's lots of party action out here, Rich! Check out the Long Beach Piano Meetup Group - that's the group I started over 3 years ago. Also: Amateur Pianists San Diego , plus a host of flourishing private groups such as Presto Piano San Diego and the Glendale Piano Group (no website), plus who knows how many I've just heard about??
