I just aquired my in-laws beautiful 1838 Pleyel grand piano. It hasn't been tuned in about 10 years. I'm looking to find a reputable piano tuner located in the Tampa, FL area. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know if Bob Maret ever schedules trips to the Tampa/St. Pete area, but he has a great reputation.

Starr Taylor takes care of my Charles Walter 1520. www.saintpiano.com or 813-234-1141. He is a rebuilder and an RPT.

Both are good recommendations.
Please clarify - you state the date of the piano is 1838 but the thread title says 1938...

Thank you, Marty for that. There are some very fine technicians in the Tampa area that would be closer than I. Please check with Bill McKaig, RPT in Tampa at 813-831-4179. wmckaig@tampabay.rr.com
