...........asleep and not asleep

I struggle, like most pianists, to move forward

the objective is seeable beyond reach

but the pace is intermittent and at a snail's pace

the objective is to sleep when I am sleepy

and make sure I am practicing when I am not sleeping

You are to me,
when you are working,
an innocent champion of
honesty.

Your heart has a way to embrace
the truth in your delivery
without looking like you are
reading from the script.

Spontaneity comes from an
invisible idea that is there
before the creation begins
and you have that naturally.

I just wanted to pay you the compliment.
