This is me on piano and my friends and colleagues from the music department performing the first movement of Brahms' Piano Quartet in C minor. This was for the student chamber music concert at the end of every semester. Hope you enjoy!

Hi there, bplary! Well, briefly put, I thought you acquitted yourself the best overall in this rendition. I thought the pacing of the movement was quite good throughout, but quite frankly the string intonation problems kept this from being a satisfying rendition for me. As far as the piano is concerned, I'd be inclined to use as little pedal as possible, particularly in the declamatory material, so as to "cut through" the string sound with more clarity. Also, I would like more distinct contrast between the lyrical "light" and dramatic "dark" sections, because I think that's an important feature of this movement. But first and foremost, the strings have gotta tune up! Thanks for sharing this!
