I have been working diligently on the score to improve clarity and playability. I'm hoping this is close to finished. I keep seeing little tweaks here and there in alignment but I'll keep fixing those as I come across them. I had a few different composers look at the score and all have been tremendously helpful!

Also I am including two different layouts. The first is the default layout of Sibelius. The other is closer to what I am used to when playing a piano score. Also it eliminates some of the page turning that would be required in the middle section, which could be annoying. Which do you think is better?

There is now. I deleted that empty measure and didn't notice that is had disappeared.

First thing I see while looking at it is the weird G#-Bb spelling in the second bar. Why isn't it Ab and Bb, since F minor is implied?

You still have the same problem in bar 11.

ahh, missed that on version A. I've been concentrating on version B because it is easier for me to read.

Have you forgotten about it? ha

The B natural in bar 16 should probably be notated as a Cb.

By the way, why is there inconsistency (bold vs not bold, italicized vs not italicized, placement on score) with some of the markings?

Example: in bar 23, you have a rit. which is bold, not italicized, and between the staves. Three bars later, the rit. is not bold, but is italicized, and is above the treble staff. wink

The good thing is that we are getting to the small stuff now as opposed to being unreadable before.

don't need a Cb. B there is no key signature yet. It is flat in the previous measure, that is why. Sibelius does that automatically, and i think that is pretty standard.

Unless I'm missing something, Sibelius has rit. in italics but molto rit. in a different font. There are a few examples like this. Maybe there is a way to change it. The example you gave was a mistake though.
