I own a digital keyboard with 5 octaves and i mainly play piano with it,i am planning to buy a digital piano in a few months but for now i am stuck with the digital keyboard.
I am mainly drawn to melodic and classical pieces so i try to play them but i cant play the entire song because i don't have the full keyboard.
What are your suggestions for me to play on my digital keyboard until ill get a digital piano,i am sick of finding a song i like and eventually finding out i cant play it.
What are my options to play that are fairly simple and only require 5 octaves that are on a digital keyboard.
I know this may sound silly to some but for the past few months i was playing only chunks of songs and never actually found something whole that i can play, and it is driving me crazy.

Thank you!

Five octaves will allow you play most classical music written. Practically all music written from before and including Bach and his sons, through most Beethoven. Thousands of works. Have fun!

Maybe you should buy an 88 weighted key keyboard until you can upgrade to an acoustic. I bought a digital piano to learn on originally. After 2 years I subsequently lusted for an AP and then found the DP hard to sell for what it was worth (50% of purchase). I eventually traded it even for a better (though not top o' the line) keyboard. Now I have the best of both when I travel or play late at night... and more room. A KORG SP250 and a Yamaha U1. Of course this is OMHO. Good luck

At first, she only flew when she thought no one was watching.
