Hi guys thanks for the replies and to Jerry for his tech input. I have just see the query about fitting a sub woofer. Firstly I could not get any clarity locally on how to get a better sound.Isaw a Sansui 2.1 Natural Acoustic multi media system. It has a 5.25" sub woofer and 2 shielded smaller speakers and seperate volume base and treble controls. The instruction pamphlet says to connect the left and right speakers to the coloured rca jacks. That was easy. Then it says connect the green signal input cable to the audio output jack of the p c or sound appliance and plug the other end of the signal input cable into the signal input jack of the main unit. I dont want to run the piano through my desktop yet so I have connected the green plug which is a mini stereo plug into a 6.5 stero jackplug into the speaker jack of the piano and the other mini jack into the main box. I was very dissappointed at the resulting sound It was slightly louder and a bit distorted. Have i connected it up correctly?. The Casio has a audio in jack Am i using the right jack or can I use this jack tks.

Jack,

I cannot find the manual on line, but does the input on the speaker input say ARC (as in Audio Return Channel) on it?

Try plugging it into the headphone output jack on the keyboard.

That's what I was thinking but didn't want to say until I knew what that cable was for!

THanks...

Ouch. Do not use the headphones out if possible.
What Casio DP do you have?
