I'm considering upgrading my Cantabile software that my Ivory runs on. I'm thinking of going to the Solo version.
Now if I download this. Will it just overwrite the existing Cantabile? Should it work ok? Or will it most likely download a different Cantabile. Then have to import the piano's from Ivory?

Hate to sound stupid. Have to ask. Would like to do some recording and my version is flaky. Even though it's a 2.0something version. It's not up to the level of the Solo.

Edit: It has also occured to me. To save spending any money. Maybe for recording. Hook up this Korg I have. Record it on Audacity. Tried recording the Ivory to Audacity. Can't figure out how to get access to the audio. The IvoryCantable has it?

I'm not even sure the IvoryCantabile will load another plugin. Or even keep working another plugin. After all, it's balking at recording after two takes.
Not interested in a recorder that will throw sounds in until I pay for it.
This ms based system is a constant manipulation to suck money out of me. I just deleted a couple programs because this thing wouldn't stay stable and do much. Have to keep it simple.
Best option for me is to get a decent handheld recorder. Only constructive option. I need one otherwise.
Am only looking forward to getting a Mac when I can afford it.
