I must get rid of my X stand asap -driving me crazy. Im about to purchase this keyboard stand and wondering if anyone on the forum owns it or tried it. Looking for some feedback and opinions. I like the small size, two legs, heavy duty, light, add accessories such as K&M laptop holder, etc

What do you need it for? Do you do a lot of gigging, or just to set up at home? I use this stand for my FP-7 and it folds up nicely to fit in my car:

It will be my primary stand for both home set up and occasional gig (about 2 or 3 times a month lately). I do like the 4 leg table stands but the 2 leg seemed cleaner taking up very little space and easy to use wire ties tight to the legs

I like the 4 leg one, it's real solid. The K&M ones come in two different depths. Easy to transport and set up.

I use this K&M for my Studiologic SL990Pro + Nord Electro 4.
This stand is very very high quality.
Just buy it, you will be happy.
I bought it from Thomann or Musicstore Germany, don't remember exactly...

I am wide open to either. So, taking a vote - which one should I buy? the 2 leg or the 4 leg?

I'm biased as I have the 4-legged one (albeit the adjustable width version) here.

That said, K&M make superb products, so I'm sure you'll be happy with either type.

The 2 leg doesn't look like it gets much smaller when you disassemble it for transportation - you'd still have a big welded "C" to deal with. The 4 leg looks like it folds up well and has a more practical top working area.

Have you looked at the Quik-Lok WS-550? Likely more versatile, folds up pretty small.

I wish I had the narrow depth 4 legged one shown above, I have the deeper depth adjustable 4 legged Proel model. That said, I really like it. Unfolds in two moves, transports easy, really solid.

I like the 18810 (2 leg) more, to me, it looks more pleasing to the eye. To get an idea of how it looks with your ES7 take a look at this video.

Its for the Kawai MP10, but I am pretty sure its the same 2 leg stand.

Regards,
Oscar
