I was surprised that a search of the forum turned up very few relevant discussions about choice of piano stools - I thought there would be more given how much time we spend sitting on them!

I'm planning on buying a (digital) piano soon and want to buy an adjustable bench. It seems possible to buy ones that aren't particularly expensive, but I'd prefer to spend more and have one that's definitely comfortable and that will last me the rest of my (hopefully) long life. Rather than a cheap one that will soon start wobbling and eventually fall apart. Buy once, buy well!

So, what would you recommend? Bonus points for benches that are available in the UK!

A Jansen bench is comfortable, and will last the rest of your long life.

NY steinway sells their piano with Jansen artist bench after putting steinway logo on it. Does Hamburg steinway uses Jansen bench also?
I agree Jansen bench has decent quality.
