I posted this yesterday on the Pianist forum and didn't get a response so thought I'd try here:

Is anyone else on the forums going to Piano Texas in June or to the finals for the Van Cliburn Piano Competition?

I'm really excited to be going and would be interested in meeting others from the forums while there.

Sounds like an excellent opportunity. I would be way too intimidated to play for a master class... But attending the master classes and recitals would be a great learning experience.

I do plan to watch the competition online, as much as I can. They will be live streaming it again.

I'm only going as a general observer so I won't play for a master class but will get to watch. I know someone who went last year as only a general observer and he was invited to play in a recital one evening.
