And how old is it? Seller doesn't seem to know or want to give me year. Have searched forums and someone said around $875 back in 2011. Thanks in advance for your help.

Wikipedia puts it at 1993~1994 or 19~20 years old!

I found two listings $2000 and $1500 ... but people ask INSANE prices for used DPs.

Thanks, Xorbe. I found the same thing. I think even $999 is far too much for this DP. They're similar to computers - the older they are the less they're worth. I don't want to insult the seller and would like to provide some backup documentation for the offer I might make if all the keys work and it sounds like it should. I was thinking $500-600 max. I found something on the forums from '10-'11, I think that said they should go for about $875 but that info is a bit outdated as well. Any info that anyone could provide would be most helpful. Thanks again.

20 year old DP, so it's not going to sound or play even remotely as good as a current entry-level Casio, Yamaha or Korg, and that's assuming everything still works properly.

Personally I wouldn't consider anything more than $200, and I would only spend anything at all just from curiosity, if I wanted an actual piano I'd get one of the aforementioned entry-level pianos.
Playing since April 2010.
