I've been preparing this movement for some time now and I decided to play the whole thing through by myself and record it this evening. I'd really really appreciate any comments, whether on any specific part/phrase in the piece or just general suggestions. I have a performance coming up that I'm very nervous about (and I'm not quite sure how to plan my practicing at this point) so any feedback would be very helpful.

P.S. Please excuse the wrong notes and the lapses of accurate counting in between the solo parts. Also, I recorded this in a tiny practice room so the sound quality is not the best.

Thank you so much!

Aside from the less than best recording quality it appears as if you have a very solid technique in this piece as you really don't have anything to worry about!

I enjoyed the playing since you have put a lot of work into this music and it is very demanding on all fronts. As for practicing there's not a lot I can add here as you should just continue what you have been doing.

It would be good if you can get a rehearsal play-through with the orchestra you are going to be performing with, otherwise, I would ask to speak with the conductor in advance so that you can go over the score with him/her just so that both you and the orchestra are thinking similarly with regards to the various tempo changes throughout the movement.

Other that that... very nicely done!
