Was wondering if it's possible to use Garage Band to record Galaxy Vintage D?

If so, anybody know how to bring Vintage D into Garage Band?

If not doable, can you recommend a free or inexpensive software to accomplish recording Vintage D?

Free vst hosts that can record vintage D: MultiTrackStudio, vsthost, minihost. I use minihost. MultiTrackStudio is pretty nice, though.

Assuming you have Kontakt and Vintage D installed properly and know how to work with Garageband:

1. Open Garageband
2. Select New Project "Piano"
3. In the far right column under Software Instrument select the Edit tab.
4. You will see Sound Generator and Effects. Click on "Piano" in the Sound Generator.
5. This opens a drop down menu where you choose Kontakt under Audio Units Module.
6. Once selected and the menu closed you will see the generic AU icon. Click on the icon to open Kontakt where you will be able to access the Vintage D GUI.
7. At this point I assume you have general knowledge using Garageband's recording capabilities.
