In the 1st movement of Schubert's Wanderer Fantasie:

my question is: so the A flat essentially is played in short succession twice (RH then LH) in the 1st measure, and the same goes for the E flat in the 2nd measure?

also, if there are fingering suggestions for these 2 measures that'll also be great. right now for I have:

measure 1 RH leaps: 1-5, 1-4, 1-5
measure 2 RH leaps: 1-5, 1-4, 1-5

measure 2 2nd half LH: 5-1-2-1-2-1-3/2-1

Yes - to your first question.

I played all of the leaps in the RH with 1-5, 1-5, 1-5

I played measure 2, 2nd half LH with 5-1-1-2-3-1-3-1

Worked for me !! grin

Why these crazy crossovers and thumb slides? I just use the obvious fingering 5-2-1-2-3-2-3-1...
