The auto correction feature and lots of students who aren't familiar with english have created an endless source of amusement for me in the form of bizarre text messages concerning their instruments.

Here are two:

Please removes the leads from both pianos for the concert.

The F sharp threesome in room 1719 is sticking.

Just thought I'd share. Have any of you received similar requests?

You're brave. I would never make my number available to students at an institution!

I don't mind. It saves countless admin hours and I get the message immediately. I can't tell you how many times I get an email from admin telling me about a problem that I could have corrected while I was on site just hours before. I don't have the time to check every piano every day and the speed of the text just beats every other possibility. Also, even though it's not my problem when things get changed at the last minute, I try to accommodate them if I'm there anyway. I love the students and really enjoy working with them.
