Aimee, I’m impressed by your progress on Mendelssohn in only a few days. Really good indeed!

Here we can listen to this fantastic version of Haydn’s “Farewell” Symphony, conducted by Adam Fischer. The concert filming is quite unusual, but the legendary ending of this symphony is still well represented. I enjoyed a lot this video last night.

thanks Rupak - yes I miss the sunday classicals. I really liked the first clip - the schubert I think

This guy's voice somehow manages to cut right through me leaving me quite moved. And he isn't afraid of letting the spaces between the sound resonate - but that sounds weird, and I hope it makes sense.

...and for those of you shocked by the recent tornado disasters in the US (and other disasters around the world - both natural and 'man-made') this is for you:

Welcome to this thread, Densi!

In this video we can see the teaching abilities of Gustavo Dudamel when it comes to work with young musicians. In this orchestra there are even kids.

Thanks Recaredo, thought I would come and get some fresh inspiration to create some new music, things have gone a bit stale music wise. Your video was a breath of fresh air, I will just check out the forums and see what's happening.
