I have been learning piano, I am planning to pull my dad in into piano learning. He is 67 and spending most of his time at home. So that he spends some time with music.

How do I bring him in to this? Any suggestions?

I am attracting him with my first few lessons, when I practice, he comes to me to listen and look what I am doing.

we don't own any piano, just a keyboard for now.

thanks much for your help..

Hmm, has he expressed any interest in learning himself? Perhaps he is happy just to listen to you? I would start by casually asking, when he seems to be enjoying your playing if he wants to start learning and how it's never to late and see where that leads.

Ya, it's got to be his decision. As long as he knows it's never too late to start learning, so be sure to tell him that. And leave the rest up to him. smile

It could also be a hindrance having your father learn at the same time, hogging the piano for one lol
