We have a piano that has been given to my wife and I, however, we are in the process of relocating and our new home will not accommodate the piano so we are trying to decide what to do with it. I have done some research and found that it is a 1973 (I believe) and that it is Japanese manufactured. Would any of the knowledgeable members on this site have an opinion on what it would price at if we were to sell it? I have attached some pics that I took of it today. Any of your help or advice would be really appreciated.

There is not a big demand for spinets and the early (to the US) instruments were not the greatest pianos, but they have name recognition now.

One could run circles trying to price it, but if you are thinking of advertising it on Craigslist, you might start at $750 and be prepared to negotiate. If you end up at $500, I think it would be fair to you and the buyer.

It's much easier to bash a Steinway than it is to play one.
