I recently installed a used Pianomation system into my 1916 Everett piano. It plays great, and it reminds me of when my mom used to play, who now lives in Heaven... I have a few CD's that play QRS midi music, but want to expand my selection with FREE internet music. So, what is the clenest/simplest setup to play midi files from my computer? I have tried using an earphone to rca cable (from computer), plugging the white/left channel into the AMI/in (input to 2000C /same as 2000CD+), and it doesn't work. Does the signal need to come from a USB port? Do I need some kind of software? Would it be better to plug into the midi-in port on the player? Also, where can I find free or cheap GOOD classical and gospel piano solos? Any help will be appreciated. Please try to make it simple for this simpleton.
